Blansko is a gate to the Moravian Karst, but it also has developed industry. The local castle raised by a renewing of a renaissance strong-hold in 1574 lately renewed into novo renaissance style. The novo baroque city-hall from 1885 is an interesting point as well. You can visit the Museum of Blansko which residents in Blansky zamek. It offers a great exposition with regional themes - Moravian Karst, the eldest iron-mills, the Blansky castle’s history, decorative and utilitarian cast iron of 19th and 20th century.
